Thus, there has been a problem in that the exhaust passage is easily affected by blow-by gas. In addition, since the wall surface of the exhaust passage is locally thin, the exhaust passage is easily affected by the pulsation of the gas passing through the exhaust passage. Furthermore, when each piston is reciprocally moved within a corresponding cylinder, the piston is caused to make contact with the wall surface of the exhaust passage, thereby producing a knocking.
